The brief
The greenery along the shopping-centre car park was neglected: old weed-ridden gravel and gaps in the planting. A surface customers walk past every day had to look finished — without limiting the centre’s operation.
Scope of work
Raking out the old gravel, laying new weed-control fabric, delivering and spreading fresh gravel, hand-weeding six beds totalling ~630 m², and planting ornamental grasses and perennials.
The solution
The beds sit between occupied parking bays, so the work went in sections: cordon off, deliver material, plant, and clear the same day. The centre stayed open throughout.
